The jury summons will require that you appear for jury duty at the courthouse at a certain time and place. When you arrive at the courthouse there likely will be a jury assembly area. Qualifications for Jury Service. Georgia law says you are qualified to be a juror if you: Are a U.S. citizen. Are at least 18 years old.
